The Right Decision

Location: Green Lake
Distance: 6 miles
Playlist: My own mix

I planned to run ten miles today. I made it six before my right hamstring was talking to me enough to stop. I never like stopping my runs short but I know way too many people who push their bodies too far and do real damage. My half is next weekend and I only have this week to rest up any sore spots so I’m listening to my body.

As soon as I stopped and turned around to head to the car, a bald eagle flew right over me and landed at the top of a tree. It was really beautiful and a pretty excellent confirmation that I made the right decision.
