Our fridge quit yesterday. Pretty great timing, right? Did I mention that we have out of town guests coming this week too? What could have been a crazy stressful day was actually wonderful. After making some calls and booking a repair appointment we took off this morning and headed to the mountains about an hour northeast of us. My kids are 7 and 8 years old and we are still building up their stamina for longer hikes so we decided on two hikes that are each about 2 miles roundtrip and about 20 minutes away from one another. The trails were quiet, the weather was perfect, and we even found a little snow. Good stuff.
